Growing up as the son of two of the biggest rock stars to ever grace the stage certainly has its perks. For one, you get to name drop your parents. Secondly, you get to look like an amalgamation of both. Lastly, for our purposes here, your social media following definitely gets a bump.
For those following along with the Rossdale/Stefani family (the BUSH and No Doubt lead singers who ultimately divorced in 2016 share three children Kingston, Apollo, and Zuma together), their eldest son Kingston Rossdale has begun posting his life and loves on social media.

With just 12 posts and over 6,000 followers, 14-year-old @kingrossdale_ kicked off his IG account in the summer of 2020 sporting a Sex Pistols tee shirt. Respect. Following that up with a number of images of himself looking almost EXACTLY like his dad Gavin, and not a single post featuring his band's music, it looked like his account would simply be a documentation of his inevitable rise to stardom.
And then Cupid's arrow seemingly embedded itself deep... like way deep, into Kingston's heart. The post above, his latest love letter to girlfriend Lola Albert on what just so happened to be her birthday a week ago sums up what has come before. "I’m so happy that the universe brought us together again cause I don’t know where I’d be without you. I’m so sad we can’t see each other today but I swear I’ll see you soon," Kingston says before wishing her "the best birthday anyone could have."
Back in February 2021, Kingston posted a pic of himself and Lola where they're shown masked up together as he thanks her in the caption, "for making the past six months of my life the best they could ever be," while saying he "can't wait to see" her. Lola also posted a photo of herself and Kingston commemorating their six months "together."
Still. Missing. Lola.
November 2020: Missing Lola, the premiere.
Here's where we see Kingston starts to open up. Three simple words in the caption, but it's the beginning of something beautiful. "I miss you," Kingston says sharing a photo of him and his flame.
September 2020: "with bae." Kingston and Lola together on the farm, taking pics and flashing the bird. Is this where it all began? As we mentioned earlier, before this post it was just a whole lot of headshots and hanging with dad over the summer. But some of those headshots did tag Lola (among others) and mention missing.... someone.
We're hoping these two finally get together again this summer, because we're not sure we can take any more of these longing-for-love posts from Kingston. Can't mom or dad, like, send a tour bus or something to pick her up? Cmoooooon daaaaaaad, pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaseeeeee!?!?!?!?!
