Not long after revealing their intentions to buy Casa Bonita, a Mexican restaurant in Colorado that was featured on South Park, the show's creators have struck a deal that gives them ownership of the place.
“We are absolutely trying to buy it. We are going to do everything we can. We want to make it right and make it amazing.” Trey Parker told The Hollywood Reporter last month. The Lakewood, Colorado restaurant is home to arcades, waterfalls with cliff divers, Black Bart's Cave, and other features Cartman went especially wild for on the show. The purchase also comes shortly after Parker & Stone inked a $900 million deal with ViacomCBS that runs through 2027.
The mayor of Lakewood, Colorado says this is exciting for the town and the entire state of Colorado. Parker & Stone hope to get to work on revamping the place soon and expect Black Bart's Cave to get a little bigger.
