Universal Orlando Resort is apparently not having any issues with parkgoers staying at home during the pandemic. The resort has been hitting its capacity for days now, over the last couple of weeks, with huge lines and guests packed in.
"By the time we walked up to Islands of Adventure, which is supposed to open at 8 a.m. We walked up at about 8:15 or 8:20 and they were already at capacity and we could not get in," Lisa Nathan told FOX 35 in Orlando. "As far as you could see, there were people in a standby line. It was unbelievable,” she added.
On its website, Universal warns guests of over-capacity during the holidays.
The resort hit official capacity by 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, as some guests were allowed in early to line up for the Spiderman attraction.
Universal Studios was reportedly equally as crowded, with guests being turned away as soon as the park opened.
