Music’s biggest night is finally here.

Listen to your favorite music now on RADIO.COM.

After a bit of a delay, the 2021 GRAMMY Awards are set to take place Sunday, March 14 at 8 PM ET/6 PM PT airing on CBS.

Beyoncé leads the way with nine total nominations including the prestigious Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories. Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and Roddy Ricch are each tied in second place with six total nominations.

While we continue to cover all the events and news leading up to the big show, here’s a guide that covers everything you need to know about the 2021 GRAMMY Awards.

What

The GRAMMY awards recognize the best recordings, compositions, artists, and achievements in music. The GRAMMY calendar doesn’t follow the traditional calendar as all works released between September 1, 2019 and August 31, 2020 are eligible for a GRAMMY Award. The ceremony features performances by major artists (more on that in a bit) as well as presentations honoring winners and paying tribute to musical events of the year.

Staples Center

Where

The ceremony itself will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Producers of the show have already said there will be a few pre-recorded performances and some that take place “in and around” the venue. In the venue, there will be four stages set up in the round with a small number of performers, nominees, and guests grouped around it. A fifth stage will be used solely for presenters.

Who

After a bit of uncertainty as to whether or not he would remain as host, comedian and host of The Daily Show will serve as your host for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards. As of writing, the list of presenters hasn’t been revealed.

Who’s Performing?

Here’s where the fun starts. Performances always serve as a highlight of any GRAMMY show and this year promises to be no different. Scheduled performers include Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Cardi B, BTS, Brand Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Mickey Guyton, HAIM, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Megan Thee Stallion, Maren Morris, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift.

Awards To Keep An Eye On

At 83 total categories, there’s a lot of fierce competition. You can find the full list of nominees right here, but we’ve spotlighted a few categories you’ll want to keep an eye on. Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist make up the “Big 4” categories and have historically been seen as the most prestigious awards. Aside from the “Big 4,” you’ll want to keep an eye on your favorite genre as there’s awards honoring the best album and song from that genre.
