Anne Hathaway gives goth elegance with see-through gown and leather opera gloves

Anne Hathaway gave a goth twist to a classic style in her latest chic look, channeling both Audrey Hepburn and Morticia Addams at the Berlin Film Festival.

Hathaway, who is experiencing a sartorial renaissance lately, took to the red carpet in see-through mesh Valentino with a fishnet overlay, reports Instyle. She layered the dress over a beige bodysuit, pairing the column gown with leather opera gloves and black pointy heels.

The brunette actress wore her long locks in an up-do reminiscent of Hepburn’s signature hairstyle, leaving face-framing wisps out next to elegant drop earrings.

Last month, Hathaway leaned towards a more recent decade in another fashion moment. Still sticking to an all-black look, Hathaway paired a minidress with sheer black tights and chunky black boots.

She wore her hair down and tousled, and kept her makeup simple with black eyeliner and a pink-nude lip.

Hathaway, who has four films scheduled to be released in 2023, will likely continue make the festival and red carpet rounds in coming months. Can we expect a nod to the disco era next?
