It was seen roaming around the streets of Mastic and Shirley, and even shutdown Sunrise Highway briefly after its escape.
A search team spotted the bull in a field late Tuesday night, but were not able to secure the animal.
Rescue groups have now brought in a cow, named Norma Jean, in hopes of catching the bull, and also have plans to set up bait traps.
The bull remained on the loose as of Thursday morning.
Once the bull is captured, it will live out the rest of his days at Skylands Animal Sanctuary And Rescue in New Jersey.
Residents are advised not to approach the bull and to call 911 if they see the animal.
