Kerry Vincent, a star on Food Network who also co-founded the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show, has died at 75.

Over the weekend, Vincent's nonprofit organization confirmed the chef’s death in a post on Facebook, explaining that the Australian television personality and baker has been battling an unspecified illness.

“It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of Kerry Vincent earlier this evening. Being a very private person when it came to all things not cake, she did not want to put her illness out there to the public,” the post read.

It continued: “Unfortunately her fight has come to an end but she will no longer have any pain. She will be sorely missed by all who she has touched through the Sugar Arts as well as personally. There will be no services per her request. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.”

People requested a comment from a Food Network representative but haven’t heard back from the organization.

Vincent was born and raised in Wyalkatchem, Western Australia.

While Vincent lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she founded the Grand National Wedding Cake Competition. Her television credits include judging contestants on “Food Network Challenge” and hosting the 2014 series “Save My Bakery.”

Outside of the country, Vincent also was a judge on “The Great Australian Bake Off.”

She was also inducted into the International Cake Exploration Societé Hall of Fame in 2004, and then the Dessert Professional Hall of Fame in 2010.

Vincent was the first to institute cake decorating as a form of art. The star began an exhibition of winter cakes in 1985.

She is survived by her husband, Doug Vincent.
