A viral post from the Dickson City Police Department outlines a would-be exorcism that was about to take place in a Pennsylvania Home Depot lumber aisle.
According to WTSP, the post described the event, which was set to be an exorcism for dead trees. As of Thursday, the post had been shared more than 550 times.
It took place in Dickson City in Lackawanna County, home to less than 6,000 people.
It is unclear what the outcome of the event was, or whether or not it was actually set to be an "exorcism." Commenters wondered if perhaps the police department made a typo.
The "exorcism" took place on Monday around 3:30 PM.
"How does a wood exorcism happen in 2021 and not a single person in Home Depot videoed this for our entertainment. I need answers," one commenter astutely pointed out.
The "disorderly people," as described by the post, involved just two people. Neither of the two people were charged.
Little information is known, as the incident was described in just 27 words in between news of a traffic stop and a car crash.
