Let’s get our rebel yells ready, everyone. Legendary British rocker Billy Idol kicking off the new year by receiving the first Hollywood Walk of Fame star of 2023.

Three-time GRAMMY nominee Billy Idol was originally scheduled to receive his honor, located outside of the Amoeba Music location on Hollywood Blvd., on Thursday, January 5, but due to rain, the event has been rescheduled for the following day on Friday, January 6.
“Since the beginning of his career Billy Idol has held the hearts of many of his fans who finally will be able to visit his star and witness his induction into the Walk of Fame,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Idol's latest release is his 2022 pandemic-fueled Cage EP.
