This past season was a year of change for Tom Brady -- changing cities, teams, getting new teammates and even some changes to his workouts.

In an interview with People.com, Alex Guerrero, Brady's body coach and co-founder of TB12 Sports, explained some changes the quarterback made to his workouts.

"This was an unprecedented year, not to mention a new city," Guerrero said. "This year we included pool workouts and, of course, even a park eviction."

He added: "We worked on a number of things to prevent overload to his elbows and shoulders, and maintaining mobility and strength through his hips and spine. But the constant through it all was the hard work and determination that propelled Tom personally. "

Guerrero also said what Brady has to eat on his "cheat" days.

"Although he puts a lot of greens on his plate, Tom has adopted more flexibility generally to find harmony and balance with his food," he said. "We believe in variety. If he wants pizza, he'll eat it. He just wants it to be a really good slice and he doesn't do it that often."

Brady, who will be 44 years old at the start of next season, said during Super Bowl week he could envision himself playing beyond 45.
