The Celtics have borrowed plenty from the 2004 Red Sox as they attempt to become the first team in NBA history to win a series after trailing 3-0, from Marcus Smart quoting Kevin Millar's "Don't let us win one" to the whole team watching the "Four Days in October" documentary.
Ahead of Game 7 Monday night, Jayson Tatum paid homage to a different Boston legend and a different catchphrase.
Tatum arrived to TD Garden wearing a jacket with a picture of Kevin Garnett on one side and his famous exclamation from the night the Celtics won the title in 2008 on the other: "Anything is possible."
Those 2007-08 Celtics proved that, and this year's Celtics can prove it once again if they finish off this improbable comeback Monday night.
Garnett, by the way, took notice, and offered some words of encouragement for Tatum.
