The 33-year-old opened up to fans Tuesday evening via social media sharing he’s been struggling with anxiety and panic attacks related to his bus crash this time last year. He then revealed he’s chosen to cancel a pair of upcoming shows and postpone one so he can fully focus on getting better.

"I need to be honest with everyone for a second,” he wrote to open up his statement. “I’ve been dealing with some serious anxiety since the bus accident last year and over the last two weeks, it has taken control of my life. It's caused me to suffer many panic attacks which have landed me in the hospital.”

He continued on to explain his decision to cancel two shows (October 5 & 7) on the mockingbird & THE CROW Fall Tour and reschedule his Georgia Rodeo show to next year.

“I need a moment to focus on me and make myself better for my wife, family and you, the fans,” he shared. “My plan is to be back and focused on Oct. 12th. Thank you for understanding, see you soon.”

The near-fatal bus crash happened late on October 1, 2022 on a Tennessee highway following HARDY’s performance in Bristol, Tennessee. On the bus with HARDY at the time were his photographer, Tanner Gallagher, tour manager, Noah Brown and bus driver, Ricky Hudson. They all sustained “significant injuries.”
