Just a few short weeks away from his upcoming solo album, All Night Days, Rob Thomas stepped into the Rock Star Suite at the Hard Rock Hotel New York, for a conversation with Race Taylor about his evolution in the music industry, his views on mental health, songwriting skills, and more.

"It's funny, when you're young, you have a very kind of, naive version of what you think success is," Rob reveals. "For me I think, I never saw pass 'I'm gonna come back and I'm gonna play my high school talent contest and show them. I'm gonna show them all!'"
"You never thought about being in your 50s and looking back on a 30 year catalog. What a gift it is to be someone's nostalgia. To have certain songs that people have grown up with and you just go, 'oh,' that's mind blowing."
