Wawa is celebrating 60 years! Wawa’s history dates back to 1902 when the founding family took up dairy farming and delivered milk door-to-door and as times changed, so did the business with Grahame Wood opening the first store on April 16, 1964 in Folsom, PA. To toast the 60th anniversary milestone, Wawa is giving out Free Any Size Hot Coffee at all 1,000+ locations on Tuesday, April 16.

On April 16, you can visit any store and get 60 cent birthday cake donuts and 60 cent assorted Wawa teas, as supplies last

Every store has selected a customer to recognize on Wawa Day as a “Day Brightener” to capture the special relationships between our associates and customers and how those connections brighten days. Day Brighteners will be presented with a sash, vintage mug and a week supply of free coffee!

Philadelphia Festivities on Tuesday, April 16:

In Philadelphia, Wawa invites customers to join its official kickoff event at its 6th and Chestnut Street store for a ceremonial coffee pour, recognition of select Day Brightener customers with stories sure to make you smile and announcement of $1 Million in Gift Cards to National Partners including the American Red Cross, Check Out Hunger, Children’s Miracle Network, JDRF, LLS, Special Olympics and the USO, as well as local Partner The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia.

Wawa is sponsoring Free Admission to the National Constitution Center, 525 Arch Street, on Tuesday, April 16, 10am – 4pm, plus unveiling a special Wawa History exhibit that will be on display at the museum through Sunday, April 21.
