BIG 98.1 morning host Coop is a passionate advocate for the Child Life Services Department at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Child Life provides services you might not think of at the top of your head. They play games with patients, throw birthday parties, create a prom for high school kids who miss their at school, offer music therapy, bring therapy dogs to comfort kids, and comfort kids before surgeries. In short, Child Life Specialists are the people who comfort kids at CHOP when they need comforting the most. They are the patients’ best friends and the parents’ greatest gift.
BIG 98.1 holds an annual two-day Radiothon in December that has raised millions of dollars over nearly 25 years. Coop hosts the entire Radiothon. He’s committed. He’s passionate. Now, he’s ready to do more by literally “walking the walk” this June.
Coop will be walking over 60 miles, up to 12 miles each day, from Philadelphia to Atlantic City, and broadcasting live along the way at ACME Markets, Turnersville Kia, Archer Exteriors, and Sport Hyundai to share his journey, and share how your donations are making a difference for kids at CHOP.

Day 1: Coop broadcasts live from Borgata Studios at the Audacy Headquarters in Philadelphia, then walks 10 Miles to Barrington, NJ.
Day 2: Coop broadcasts live from ACME Markets, 501 Evesham Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078, then walks 11 miles from Barrington to Sicklerville, NJ.
Day 3: Coop broadcasts live from Turnersville KIA, 2900 NJ 42, Sicklerville, NJ 08081, then walks 11 miles to Hammonton, NJ.
Day 4: Coop broadcasts live from Archers Exteriors, 341 Harding Hwy, Pittsgrove, NJ 08318, then walks 12 miles to Egg Harbor City, NJ.
Day 5: Coop broadcasts live from Sport Hyundai, 6831 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ 08234, then walks 12 miles to Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa.
