PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man has been charged with shooting and killing a beloved security guard inside an office Friday in the Logan section of the city.
Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney Chesley Lightsey said Wayne Dorylis of Milford, Delaware has been charged with murder, causing and risking a catastrophe, and several other weapons charges.
The victim of the shooting was later identified as Nassir Day, 25.
Lightsey said authorities were still trying to determine the motivation behind the shooting.

"We don’t have any motivation as it related to the defendant and the victim, Lightsey said.
According to officials, investigators also recovered three "spring shot"-style homemade guns.
A vigil was held in Day's honor. A GoFundMe campaign has been created to support Day's family and his soon-to-be-born child. As of 8:30 p.m. Monday night, it had raised more than $47,000.
Dorylis is scheduled to be in court later this month.
