PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Jalen Hurts can add author to his list of professional titles.
The Super Bowl-winning Philadelphia Eagles quarterback has penned a new children’s book, called “Better Than a Touchdown.”
Penguin Random House, publisher of the book, describes “Better Than a Touchdown” as a story about teamwork and friendship:
“Jalen is so excited for the new school year because this is the year he’ll finally get to try out for the football team! But when he arrives at school, he learns the unthinkable — that the football team has been cut. He and his friends are devastated. But Jalen isn’t ready to give up, and with some advice from some friends, maybe — just maybe — they can save the day.”
The story is written by Hurts and illustrated by Nneka Myers. The book is set to be released on March 10, 2026, but it is available for preorder now.
