
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A tornado warning for Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties expired at 7 p.m., but the severe weather continues to pound the Philadelphia region.

At 6:51 p.m., a line of severe thunderstorms stretched from Spring Mount to Germantown to Alloway, moving northeast at 55 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Potential hazards include wind up to 70 mph and nickel-size hail.
A tornado watch remains in effect until 11 p.m. for areas of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the entire state of Delaware.
