PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A professor at Haverford College has been arrested, accused in what federal authorities said was a terrifying, “targeted” and “pervasive” act of antisemitic harassment against a coworker.
A federal grand jury indicted Guangtian Ha on a charge of cyberstalking.
Prosecutors said he used anonymous X accounts to spew vicious threats — calling for Lower Merion to be “cleansed” and for Jews to be “exterminated.”
Court documents show Ha posted the name of the victim’s infant child and the family’s home address, writing “cameras won’t help you” after they had a surveillance system installed.
Haverford President Wendy Raymond, in a statement, said she’s “heartbroken and furious” that someone in the college would “seek to inflict such pain on another.”
She said Ha was not teaching this semester and has been put on leave and barred from campus while the case is heard.
