PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Summer may be coming to an end, but the local festival scene is heating up this weekend in Philadelphia. Check out Fringe Festival at various locations across the city, Fishtown Fall Feastivale to get your food and drink fix, or, across the river, XPoNential Music Festival for three days of tunes.

Last Chance: Center City Restaurant Week

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Center City Restaurant Week with more than 110 restaurants offering prix fixe meal deals. Three-course dinners start at $45 and two-course lunches are $20 at select restaurants. Most restaurants offer indoor and outdoor seating and select locations will also have takeout. The special pricing ends on Saturday, Sept. 23.

After three weeks, Philly’s Fringe Festival is taking a final bow. There are a few more days left to check out the many different forms of storytelling that the fest offers at locations across the city. Ticket prices vary depending on what show you go to. The festival ends on Sunday, Sept. 24.

Fishtown Fall Feastivale

What better way to say goodbye to summer than with local Fishtown food and drinks. Fishtown Fall Feastivale features more than 50 local art and retail vendors, a dunk tank, carnival games and DJs who will ensure that you dance the night away. The fest takes place Saturday, Sept. 23 from noon to 8 p.m. on Frankford Avenue from Girard Avenue to Palmer Street.

XPoNential Music Festival

Now in its 30th year, XPoNential Music Festival will bring different acts to Wiggins Waterfront Park in Camden, New Jersey for three days of music. Performers include Tegan and Sara, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers. The festival takes place from Friday, Sept. 22 to Sunday, Sept. 24. One-day passes are $60 and three-day passes are $216.

Montco Jazz Fest

Montco’s second annual Jazz Fest is in full swing with musical celebrations of Nina Simone and Philly’s Miss Justine. Prices vary depending on what show you go to, but some are free. The festival ends on Sunday, Sept. 24.

Scarecrows in the Village at Peddler’s Village

Spooky season is around the corner, but who says you have to wait until then? This week, Peddler’s Village is kicking off the 44th annual Scarecrows in the Village. From Saturday, Sept. 16 to Sunday, Sept. 17 there will be live entertainment, outdoor treats, pumpkin painting and scarecrow workshops from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 100 Peddlers Village. There will also be 100 scarecrows on display, and guests have until Oct. 9 to vote for their favorite. If you can’t make it this weekend, don’t worry, the display will be up until Oct. 29.
