PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There are people who love Wawa, and then there are people who love Wawa. Tyler Gyurisin falls into the latter category.

The Barnegat, Ocean County man collected 1,000 Wawa deli order slips in sequential order, from zero to 999. He then laid them out — all 1,000, sequentially — on his carpet and took a video and photos of his years-long order slip search, which he shared on social media.

Gyurisin told 6ABC that it started as a joke three years ago but then became a personal challenge. He went to Wawa several times a day and asked friends to help fill in the blanks.

Wawa even tweeted a heart-eyes emoji at him, saying, “This is the level of dedication we’re talking about.”

His next goal is to take a picture in front of every Wawa. The Delaware County-based chain has more than 1,000 stores across the U.S.
