Chris Simms is back with his annual NFL QB rankings and you guessed it, more criticism of Eagles' Jalen Hurts, who Simms has ranked 10th.
Simms has Jayden Daniels, Matthew Stafford, C.J. Stroud, Justin Herbert and Baker Mayfield ranked from No. 5 through No. 9, ahead of Hurts.
"Is he perfect? No," Simms said of Hurts. "There's a reason he's at number 10. And there are still flaws in his football game that need to be addressed, need to be fixed. They win the games still with him not playing perfect. Again, I do the dirty work to go, 'Let me decipher here.' There's no quarterback in football that has more advantages on the field at the position than Jalen Hurts."
Simms has been famously critical of Hurts in the past on his previous iterations of his list and throughout his career.
In 2022, Simms controversially ranked Hurts as the 25th best QB. Simms argued against Hurts in December of 2022 for the NFL MVP award.
Heading into 2023, Simms bumped Hurts up to the No. 7 QB in the NFL, following his brilliant performance in a Super Bowl loss.
In February of 2024, Simms called Hurts the most overrated player in football.
