Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ryan Schreiter joined the 94WIP Morning Show to discuss concussions to two of the Philadelphia Eagles' best players, in DeVonta Smith and Lane Johnson, which they suffered in Sunday's win over the Saints.
94WIP Morning Show host Joe DeCamara blamed the officials for Smith's injury, as they failed to blow the whistle on time.
“He is stopped at the 36 and begins to go backward," DeCamara said on 94WIP before speaking with Dr. Schreiter. "31, the whistle still hasn’t blown! Devonta Smith’s injury is one hundred percent on the officials yesterday, that didn’t blow their whistle.”
After the game, C.J. Gardner-Johnson called the hit by Khristian Boyd on Smith, "The dirtiest s**t I ever saw in football" and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Boyd could be fined later this week.
