Who would you rather have as your quarterback moving forward, Jalen Hurts or Jordan Love? Joe DeCamara says he's taking Love and he wouldn't even think twice.
"You'd rather have Jordan Love than Jalen Hurts moving forward, right? I mean, I would," DeCamara said on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show with Jon Ritchie and James Seltzer.
"Yes, based on the way that they just played," Ritchie agreed.
"That's an overreaction in my opinion," Seltzer opined.
"Mark it down, January 22nd, 2024. Three years from now, let's revisit. I don't even blink," DeCamara replied.
Love is receiving praise from NFL fans and media following the Packers' impressive performance in the NFC Divisional Round against the 49ers, despite losing the game.
In his first season as an NFL starter, the 25-year-old Love led the Pack to a 9-8 record throwing for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, plus another four scores with his legs.
Hurts, also 25 years old, threw a career-high 15 interceptions this season, his third as an NFL starter. Last year, Hurts led the Eagles to a 14-1 record and a Super Bowl appearance.
