Jose Alvarado walked off the mound for what he and the Phillies hoped was the last time in the NLDS in Saturday’s game four, and made quite the fashionable exit.

The Phillies reliever, dominant all series, walked off the mound in the top of the seventh after pitching 1.2 strong innings, raised both arms high above his head, and waved them around at the home crowd that was on its feet for the reliever who turned into an anchor for a once shaky Philadelphia bullpen.

The Citizens Bank Park crowd loved Alvarado’s salute, and the lefty seemed to be taking in the scene as he made his way to the dugout, with his Phils holding a four-run lead.
