McCoy: Rumor that Sirianni has no influence on Eagles' offense is 'bull crap'

Former Eagles legendary running back LeSean McCoy says the rumor that Nick Sirianni has no influence on the Eagles' offense with new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore calling the plays is "bull crap."

"I rock with Nick, man," McCoy told Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio on Friday's 94WIP Midday Show when asked about the Eagles' head coach. "He's a smart dude, solid. Another thing, there's a rumor that he has no influence on the offense. Now, I have influence in the building and I'll tell you that's bull crap. He has a lot of influence on the offense."

Sirianni has led the Eagles to a 5-2 record this season, looking to make his fourth straight postseason appearance in four years as head coach.

"Nick is a good coach though, all he does is win," McCoy said. "Sometimes he can be a little bit arrogant of some of his play calls, going for it. I get that. I think that's more learning his team...If Nick leaves and we got another new coach, it's not promised we going to be going to the playoffs every single year, guaranteed.

McCoy predicts the Eagles will face the Lions in the NFC Championship game this year.

"This team is really, really good," McCoy said of the Eagles. "People be forgetting it's a marathon...It's a long season. Every week I see the guys getting better and better and better.

"If you really watch [Jalen Hurts'] career, even in college, he gets better and better...A.J. Brown, I talk to him probably the most...A.J. is healthy now. I think when he plays, Jalen is—it's his insurance."

McCoy will be inducted into the Eagles' Hall Of Fame at halftime of Sunday's game at the Linc against Doug Pederson and the Jaguars.

On Saturday, McCoy and DeSean Jackson will be partaking in their Gran Coramino Tequila Tour in the area.
