Eagles fans welcome Doug Pederson back with standing ovation

The Philadelphia Eagles fans welcomed back Doug Pederson with a standing ovation before Sunday's Eagles-Jags game at Lincoln Financial Field.

Pederson, 54, was the Eagles' head coach from 2016 to 2020, leading the team to their first Super Bowl in franchise history on February 4th, 2018 over Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots.

Pederson finished his Eagles head coaching tenure 42-37-1 in the regular season and 4-2 in the playoffs and was fired in January of 2021.

Now, after a season off, Pederson is in his first season as Jacksonville Jaguars head coach and has his new team off to a promising 2-1 start.
