Cancer wasn't going to control the lives of Laurin Long and Michael Bank.
The lovebirds met in 2015 while Laurin was battling breast cancer… and the pair were engaged two years later. Laurin's cancer eventually came back, this time it had spread to her bones, liver, and lungs. Doctors urged the couple to move their wedding date up, but Laurin says that she wasn't going to let her disease dictate their life.
After enrolling in an aggressive clinical trial, she was showing major signs of improving and the couple was able to have their dream wedding, the day they originally planned -- despite the cancer.
These beautiful images captured by photographer Tiffany Ellis show not only Laurin's incredible strength, but also the power of their love.
