1.2019 MTV Video Music Awards
The 2019 VMAs gave us an arsenal of cute, memorable and steamy Shawmila moments that we not just wanted, but needed. From walking the red carpet, winning a joint award, adorable PDA during the show, and that sultry debut performance of "Señorita". Pero like literally, it was almost too much to handle, though somehow we managed.
2.Lockdown Strolls
Who can forget these two giving us zombie walk chic-ness throughout quarantine. With not much else to look forward to back then, these daily/weekly snaps of Shawn and Camila getting their morning coffee hand-in- hand stroll on really kept up going during the year we'd rather forget.
3.The 2021 Met Gala
Nothing like another Shawmila moment to remind just how single we really are. The most recent Camila and Shawn adorbs couple moment took place at this year's Met Gala where the two stunned looking like modern day Sunny and Cher minus the weird stache and eventual break-up of course. Because if these two don't stand the test of time, then love is most certainly a lie.
4.IG Love
Is it even real if you don't post about it? In Shawn and Camila's case, yes. But still we love a social media fondness sharing couple. From birthday posts, to celebrating each other's success. Camila and Shawn are showing more than just PDA, but also SMDA (social media display of affection) and every time they do it's just the freaking cutest.
5.NBD, just Camila being Shawn's ultimate muse
Before they we're a thing, Shawn and Camila were crushing on each other hard, but were both too shy to do anything about it. Thankfully they both got over it, but before they did, Shawn's internalized feelings led to some of his best chart topping hits. And it all gets reveled during the cutest freaking moment in the Netflix documentary, Shawn Mendes: In Wonder.
"My song comes on the radio or something and the fact comes up that it's about her. I'm like, 'Yeah, it's about you. Everything's about you. They've always been about you,'" Mendes recalls. "She goes, 'What do you mean?' I'm like, 'They're all about you. Like every song I've ever wrote.' And I'm rhyming off the songs, like, 'Treat You Better,' all these songs. She's like, 'Oh my god.' This whole time, I thought she knew."
Tbh, the entire doc is filled with adorably sweet couple moments, but jump to 2:10 for the revelatory moment that really had us in our feels.
