In a three-minute-long video, she opened up with “I don’t do this often… I’m not good at it and I don’t like it.”

She had been receiving criticism on her appearance after a photo surfaced of her and Wicked co-star, Cynthia Erivo, at a London concert. She wanted to “talk a little bit about what it means to be a person with a body, and to be seen and to be paid such close attention to” and “even if you are coming from a loving place and a caring place, that person probably is working on it or has a support system that they are working on it with and you never know.”

And to clear up the world’s concerns, she candidly admitted that she is currently at the healthiest point in her life, revealing that she has struggled with her health before but ultimately, it wasn’t the world's business to know.

“The body that you have been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you considered ‘my healthy’ but that in fact wasn’t my healthy.”

Grande wants people to feel less comfortable commenting on people's bodies, and know that there are so many ways to be “beautiful” and “healthy.”

The former Nickelodeon star ended the video with a positive and uplifting message to her fans. “Sending you guys a lot of love and I think you're beautiful no matter what you're going through, no matter what weight, no matter how you like to do your makeup these days, no matter what cosmetic procedures you had, or not, or anything and yeah, I just think you're beautiful,” she concluded.
