Cindy Crawford has entered the chat, reminding her followers that certain looks NEVER go out of style, especially if it's Versace. Over the weekend, Dua Lipa stunned the GRAMMYs red carpet, and literally anyone with sight, when she stepped out in vintage Versace, but turns out she wasn’t the fist.

As Cindy reminded us, the year was 1992, the event — MTV’s Video Music Awards, and the dress (which at the time was not vintage), featured a fitted sheath silhouette, mesh bodice with overlayed black leather straps and gold buckles connecting to a high-neck collar.
Sharing a snap of herself wearing the stunning BDSM-inspired black Versace gown on Instagram, along with a second pic of Dua rocking her spin of it at the 2022 GRAMMYs, the former super model wrote, "Then and now 🖤 Timeless,” tagging both Dua and the brand.
Agreed, so let’s break down both looks. Cindy, 30 years prior chose to step out in the ensemble as is, but did add a red ribbon for HIV awareness. While Dua opted for a heavy dose of accessories, including a metallic gold manicure, gold and silver cocktail rings, chunky gold charm bracelets and many layers of gold chokers and necklaces.
Naturally, comments from fans and famous friends rolled in, including Donatella Versace, who agreed the dress was “Absolutely timeless!!" Additionally, fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell reacted with heart and flame emojis, and Paris Hilton chimed in with “Iconic.” Again, agreed.
Check out the duo rocking the same dress decades apart in Cindy’s post below.
