In operation since opening to the public in July 1999, Disney’s indoor ‘Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith’ is located within Hollywood Studios at Florida’s expansive Walt Disney World, taking riders upwards of 60 mph in just under three seconds, while traveling up to 5 Gs through three loops, all the while soundtracked by a number of Aerosmith’s hits and recorded guest appearances from the band themselves.

According to park specialists WDW Magic, The Muppets will take over musical and hosting duties on the revamped ride, following the success of the "group's" Muppets Mayhem Disney+ series and the imminent closure of the park's 'MuppetVision 3D' experience and 'Muppet Courtyard'.

While details are still under wraps, Disney says, "The Muppets will be taking over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, teaming up with some of music's biggest stars for a rockin' music festival!" A closing date for the Aerosmith version is still forthcoming so catch the ride while you can!
