Kelsea Ballerini is the latest artist to be struck by a flying object while on stage — which seems to be a cringeworthy trend these days.

Kelsea was performing in Boise, ID on Wednesday night when an object — supposedly a bracelet — was launched on stage and struck her in the face.
After turning away from the audience and taking a brief break from the stage, Ballerini came back and addressed the incident with her fans.
“Can we just talk about what happened?” She said after returning to the stage. “All I care about is keeping everyone safe. If you ever don’t feel safe, please let someone around you know. If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it. Don’t throw things. You know?”
Kelsea’s experience comes just one week after Bebe Rexha was pelted above the eye with a cell phone on stage, resulting in stitches. Additionally, in the last year, Kid Cudi was struck with bottles and Harry Styles in the eye by Skittles candy.
Safe to say everyone should listen to some of Kelsea’s advice and “Don’t throw things. You know?”
