Seeing old friends can be a moment of beauty, but for Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, and Christy Turlington it literally was when the three supermodels reunited over the weekend in New York City.
Christensen, 53, shared two photos of the trio on Instagram with the caption “no better way to kickstart that festive mood.” Turlington, 53, and Crawford, 56, both agreed in the comments, with Turlington writing “love you ladies, long time” and Crawford declaring that it had been “such a fun night!”
While they didn’t snag an invite to the impromptu photoshoot, other supermodels including Linda Evangelista and Lily Aldridge left heart emojis in the comments of the photo, and Carla Bruni teased that she wanted in on the fun by commenting “wait for me, girls!!!”
Crawford shared photos from the reunion on social media too, writing that “nothing gets me in the holiday spirit more than catching up with family and friends!” Crawford was joined by her husband, businessman Rande Gerber, 60, while Turlington’s husband, actor and director Ed Burns, 54, was also present.
Turlington commented that she wishes they “could do that more often” while Christensen said the get-together was the “highlight of December.”
