Pat Sajak may be leaving the long-running game show, but mainstay Vanna White is looking to stay put.
According to EW, White is negotiating to remain on the game show after Sajak retires.
Like Sajak, White has been on “Wheel of Fortune” for over four decades. Sajak will be exiting his host duties after the show’s upcoming 41st season.
In further reporting, Puck found White is seeking a raise as she hasn’t had one in 18 years. She has gotten bonuses in the time period. The publication has White making around $3 million per year, with Sajak taking in the $15 million range.
In 2022, White told PEOPLE she couldn’t envision “Wheel of Fortune” happening with other hosts.
“Everybody relates ‘Wheel of Fortune’ to Pat and Vanna. We’re like Ken and Barbie, you know?” She said at the time. “We’ve been in everybody’s homes for 40 years, so it would be weird having somebody else turn my letters.”
Sajak announced his retirement in June 2023 via social media.
