During the virtual interview, "In the house that we're staying in right now,” as Megan explained, the star was adorably video-bombed by her kids Noah, 8, Bohdi, 7, and Journey, 4, who she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, as they not-so-subtly crawled in the background throughout.
“This is the living room area, and they all fell asleep on the couch last night, watching a movie," she added. "They just woke up.” At one point, as her youngest attempted to exit the shot without interrupting, Fox said over her shoulder, "Journey, you've got to crawl.”
Aware of, but unbothered by the adorable interruptions Megan noted, “it just is what it is.” And after discussing her upcoming film Till Death, as well as her preferred “blueprint” for movies she takes on - horror/thriller with comedy infused, she talked about motherhood, which you could tell is her favorite role of all.
Reflecting on being a mom to her brood of three boys, Megan said it's been tough for her to watch them grow up, because it's all happening so quickly.
”I wish there was like a way... where you could, just every once in a while, for a day, put them all back to that like 2 or 3-year-old period," she said. "Because it's really hard to watch them grown up. I struggle with that a lot. I cry about it all the time because they grow up so fast. My phone will send me pictures of them when they were younger, and it's hard to look at it. It's painful to love something so much. But I have three boys. They are hilarious. They don't listen to me at all."
"I also feel like no matter how engaged you are, or no matter how hard you were trying at the time, you always look back and you're like, 'I could have been more present,' or, 'I hope I was grateful for this while I was in that moment,'" she added.
As for her upcoming film Till Death, as Megan explained is a psychological thriller with some horror elements, “but I also think it’s hilarious,” with “a really funny premise, but it is kinda dark I guess,” which Megan admitted is what she prefers. Till Death premieres in theaters and On Demand July 2, check out the trailer below.
