Today (June 30, 2020) Colorado Jared Polis announced that bars and nightclubs would have to close down again after COVID-19 cases have spiked in nearby states Arizona and Texas. Restaurants that serve alcohol will be permitted to remain open as long as they are able to keep patrons socially distanced. Bars and nightclubs will likely stay closed until the end of July at the eariest. The Governor said that he did not want citizens from nearby states to think that Colorado was open for partying which has led to spikes of cases in those states.
