The bikes will be featured at an auction May 28 through June 12 benefiting Live Nation’s Crew Nation, a relief fund in place to provide support for live music workers around the globe impacted by the absence of shows during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’ve joined forces with 13 major artists and bands in a collective bid to raise money for Crew Nation - a global relief fund for live music crews massively impacted by COVID-19,” a statement on the Brompton website reads.

In addition to the alternative artists contributing to the project, there are various other musicians representing several other genres including Khruangbin, Rise Against, Oh Wonder, standout bassist Nathan East, Enrique Iglesias, Dinosaur Jr, Underworld, and Neko Case. Even Sub Pop record label submitted a design.

Donwood shared a look at the Radiohead inspired bike on his Instagram page.

“I’m ridiculously happy to have been asked to design a Brompton bike that’ll be auctioned to raise for Crew Nation. Brompton bikes are fantastic zippy folding freedom machines, and crews are the unsung heroes of every gig, festival or live events that you’ve ever been to.”

“Stanley has brought this one of a kind Brompton Black Edition M6L to life with an eye-catching multicolor scheme, featuring a compilation of elements from the bands back catalogue of albums with an In Rainbows album graphic on the mainframe and the Radiohead bear logo featured on the front of the bike,” Brompton explained with a video and photos featuring the design.
