On Monday, the Marvel star took to Instagram to share a cover of Rodrigo’s song “jealousy, jealousy,” while playing the guitar.
The actress played the first verse of the track and the chorus and captioned her post, “thank you @oliviarodrigo for giving the world your words.”
This is not the first cover Brie has shared on social media. For the past year, Larson has given us covers of songs from beloved Popstars such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Rosé.
“jealousy, jealousy,” comes off of Rodrigo’s debut studio album, SOUR, which dropped last month. The project came shortly after the massive success of the album’s lead single. “drivers license.” Now Olivia is poised to be Pop’s brightest songstress, as SOUR has proven that she has the range and versatility to stick around for years to come.
Becoming a Pop culture sensation in 2021, Rodrigo has seen praise from the likes of all sorts of Hollywood elites, Brie Larson is just the most recent star to hop on the Rodrigo bandwagon.
