“In the movie, I play Catwoman — sorry, the Catwoman,” Kravitz quipped. “To prepare for the role, I watched the movie musical “Cats every day for a year, which is actually the same way I heard Joaquin Phoenix prepared to play the Joker.”

This garnered the attention of fan favorite comedian Kate McKinnon, who strutted out in Michelle Pfeiffer’s signature skin tight leather suit along with pointy cat ears.

“Somebody out here talking about cats?” she asked.

“Hi, I was just doing my monologue. You’re also Catwoman?” asked Kravitz.

“Yes, I’m Catwoman from the ’90s, the one with the whip. You know, like cats have,” McKinnon joked.

She then attempted to give the latest actress to take on the iconic role a little history lesson: “Zoë, you’re part of a proud lineage of Catwomen, each with their own origin story. Do you want to know mine?”

“I fell out of a window onto a pile of cats. They licked me back to life, and now I dress like Sandy from a porno version of Grease,” explained McKinnon. “It’s still called ‘Grease.’”

As Kravitz tried to segue back to the monologue, McKinnon said they have to “fire up the Cat Signal,” a play on the Bat signal that calls upon Batman for assistance.

Upon seeing the Cat Signal and sensing danger, Ego Nwodim emerged as Eartha Kitt‘s TV version from the 60s.

“I was the first Black Catwoman. Meow!“ she noted.

Kravitz once again attempted to stay on track, but she was interrupted by Aidy Bryant, who hilariously channeled her inner “cat lady” complete with cats in a shopping cart.

When Kravitz revealed that she was “not expecting to meet so many catpeople,” noting “maybe that’s enough,” Nwodim suggested that maybe the next one might be Doja Cat.

Kravitz got her hopes up but instead of the pop sensation, Chris Redd ventured onto the set as Katt Williams.

“Oh, come on. You’re not even a woman,” Kravitz exclaimed.

“I am a lover of women. Meow,” Redd admits, as Kravitz assures the audience that they have a "great show" coming up.
