Every year veterans are dying from their exposure to toxic chemicals that came from burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Rosie Torres founded the organization Burn Pits 360 after watching her husband suffer from a lung disease caused by these toxins. She also witnessed the VA deny health care to veterans and Congress ignore the issue.
We talked with her about how Burn Pits 360 is now heading to Capitol Hill, along with a new bill to hopefully change that forever, and how the upcoming Military Toxic Exposures Conference will feature guests like Jon Stewart and former VA Secretary Dr. David Shulkin.
