Metro Fire of Sacramento announced a vegetation fire near Sloughhouse is spreading quickly and has burned 150 acres. The wind-driven fire has caused evacuations from homes around Glory Road. As the fire moves beyond Pleasant Hill and heads to Prarie City Road, Grant Line has been closed between Jackson Road and East Bidwell Street according to Rancho Corodva police. Authorities suggest additional road closures and eveacuations are pending. It was also suggested taht residents and motorists should prepare to take shelter in a defensible place.
