Garth Brooks and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler are both mega superstars out there rockin’ award shows and concerts, but it took them showering at the same time for their paths to cross.

During a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Brooks shared the hilarious story on how the two met when they both hit the showers. “I showered with him,” Brooks said when Tyler came up in conversation with Clarkson, a former American Idol winner.
“Did you say ‘I showered with him’?” a surprised Clarkson responded prompting Garth to tell the full story.
“So we’re playin’ The Last Play at Shea [Stadium] with Billy Joel. They’re gettin’ ready to tear down Shea Stadium [in] New York,” Brooks explained. “And I go out there and I’m late anyway, and they have just the baseball showers. I’m in there showering, gettin’ ready for the show. And I have soap in my eyes, I look around and there’s Steven Tyler. He’s showerin’ too. [Waves] ‘Hey! How ya doin’?’”
He continued, “How many people get to say that?” He stated before Clarkson hilariously quipped, “Well, who knows? Who knows, he’s Rock and Roll, I don’t know! You might not be so special, Garth.”
