My weekend was a very relaxed, low-key weekend. I feel like I've turned back the clock on excitement because a lot of fun things are closed again, and I know that's how a lot of other people are feeling.
Luckily my favorite stores like HomeGoods and TJ Maxx are still open. I don't know what I'd do without them! I spent some time looking for things to help me organize my closet, and found an ice cream cart and tiki hut instead.
I didn't end up buying the tiki hut nor the ice cream cart. However, I did find a Steve Madden backpack that I already own (but in a different color). I was not intending on buying a new purse, but it was a perfect moment when I saw the olive & taupe bag at TJ Maxx and it was marked down. So...you know how that goes. I think it's the perfect fall version of my black & cream backpack.
Like most weekends, I spent a good amount of time having impromptu photo shoots with my chihuahua, Jaq Jaq. The portrait mode on my iPhone kind of messed this photo up, but I loved his tongue action.
The highlight of my weekend was making a mess in my bathroom with this new Waterpik flosser that I got. Lol. That thing is super messy. BUT, it's great for your health and I got it from the dentist so I have to use it. Do you have any Waterpik tricks for reducing splattering water all over the place?
