None of us are perfect, so we're naturally bound to have "red flag" qualities of some sort. A relationship expert shared these six signs you may be a "walking red flag" (via Daily Mail).

These generally apply to dating and relationships, but I also think they can show up in friendships and professional relationships.

1. Avoidance. An example of this: appearing to be overly busy.

2. Obsession and fantasy over taking the risk of a real relationship.

3. Anxiety and anxious attachment. Another word for this is "clingy."

4. Judgement and critical thinking. We all have standards, but being picky can be limiting.

5. Being too nice. Avoiding conflict and being too agreeable can potentially work against you.

6. Being too competitive or argumentative.

Something I want to personally note is the mention of two attachment styles in this list of "red flags," avoidance and anxious attachment. Whether you've heard of attachment styles or not, I HIGHLY recommend everyone read Attached. Reading this book dramatically changed the way I look at my own attachment style and building a healthy romantic relationship based on mine and my partner's attachment style. Find it on Amazon here.
