The CDC has announced a major update on mask wearing for those who are fully vaccinated.
According to CNN, the CDC says fully vaccinated people can now go without masks at small outdoor gatherings or when dining outdoors with friends from different households. They say unvaccinated people still need to wear a mask at those gatherings.
The CDC also says that, even if you ARE fully vaccinated, you should still avoid large indoor gatherings, which is vaguely described as "many people from multiple households in a private or public space." They also recommend that masks be worn for large outdoor gatherings such as parades, sporting events, or concerts.
