California's theme parks and sports stadiums may get to reopen as early as April 1, as reopening rules have been revamped.
According to the LA Times, amusement parks will be eligible to reopen at 15% capacity starting April 1 in counties that are in the red tier. Capacity can rise to 25% when those counties are in the orange tier, and 35% in the yellow tier.
Park attendance will also be limited to in-state visitors only. Indoor dining and limits on indoor rides will also be put in place.
For outdoor sports and live performances, fans can be in attendance beginning April 1 with limitations. In counties in the purple tier, 100 people or less are allowed in attendance. LA Times says attendance will also be regionally limited, reservations will be required and there will be no concessions or concourse sales.
For those sports and live performance events, capacity rises to 20% in the red tier with in-seat concession sales, up to 33% in the orange tier and 67% in the yellow tier. Events in the red, orange, and yellow tiers are limited to in-state visitors only.
