One of the biggest flexes of 2021 has been taking a selfie with a vaccine card. But now the Better Business Bureau warns that such selfies are becoming an open invitation for scammers to steal your private information.
According to the Daily Mail, scammers are stealing people's identity from these selfies and then selling fake vaccine cards on the dark web. These cards include basic personal info like names, DOB, and vaccination site, making it easy to duplicate cards to be sold on the black market.
If you REALLY want to post a vaccine photo, the BBB suggests snapping a pic with an "I got vaccinated" sticker instead.
