These are my liposuction before & after photos

It's taken me a long time to share these with the world. Here they are!

Not very many people here in Sacramento know that I had liposuction done, but this has actually been a huge part of my life for the last year and a half.

When I lived in Minneapolis (I've been in Sacramento for about one year now), I had the opportunity and ability to get liposuction done on my torso and inner thighs. This was a personal decision of mine, and I'd always wanted to do it. No one forced me into it - I completely chose to get it done.

There is a lot I can say about the surgery itself, recovery, etc. If you ever have any questions about that and you're looking for real experience, tips, advice, or encouragement, please feel free to DM me on Instagram, @mollieonair. I love talking about it! I'll be straight up about my experience - it's just a LOT to get to.

I'd like to be open and honest about getting the procedure done, because I feel that liposuction is something that's more common than people let on. Not a lot of people are transparent about getting cosmetic surgery. Some are, but others aren't. I know a lot of "normal" people that desire surgeries like this and are very curious about them, and many who have gotten procedures done themselves (both women AND men).

Many (not all, but many) before & after photos of fat loss involve surgery, especially if it's a major weight loss with skin removal. But there are also other people that will get procedures done, not say anything, and then get praised for putting in countless hours at the gym and having some sort of "self control," when really they got help from a doctor.

But I don't want to be like that. I want to be transparent and let it be known that I had this surgery. The fact is, I'm not the most athletic person, so I'm not fooling anyone. Lol. Liposuction was literally the only way, after healthy diet and exercise, that I could get rid of unwanted fat in these areas.

Was I happy before the surgery and could I have found happiness without surgery? Absolutely! Am I happy after getting the procedure? Yes, definitely. Again, it was just a personal choice of mine to get work done. No shame here.

So I am sharing these photos with you (in the Instagram post above). My most recent photos taken within the last week, and photos taken shortly before my surgery. Take this message however you want - I just hope that I can be of some help to you in any way, shape, or form if you're interested in something like this. Again, feel free to reach out to me on Instagram if you have any questions.

I had the surgery in September 2019 by Dr. Kovanda, a plastic surgeon in Minneapolis, Minnesota. If you're ever in that part of the country, I highly recommend seeing him because I had the best experience ever!
