AtHeart is on the rise, and fast. The "Plot Twist" group was the K-Pop Rookie of the Month for Billboard in August, and this month they have already made their U.S. television debut. Somewhere in that whirlwind of success, the 6 members sat down with Audacy's Brooke Morrison to talk about their debut EP, their plans for the future, connection with fans, and much more.

"Our group name actually does combine at and heart, which means that we communicate sincerely through our hearts and communicate with all our fans around the world," shares Michi. "I think one of our goals is to kind of grow a global fan base, and to me our group name means just to be ourselves and authentic and who we are at heart and not change anything."
"Plot Twist" has been a big springboard for the group, who share that they used their EP as a way to explore different parts of their sound. "This album, 'Plot Twist,' definitely is able to keep that traditional K-pop kind of style while incorporating a Western style as well," Michi adds, "which I think is really cool nowadays because it kind of keeps up with the trends and a lot more people can find enjoyment in our music."
"With this album, we actually experimented with so many different styles to kind of find what suits us. So we got to try Hyperpop, Dream Pop, R&B, even Afro. So while making this album to really do all of these styles justice, I was listening to a lot of Billie Eilish, SZA, Tyla, all those amazing artists."
